What happens at this event?

Walking yoga combines movement with breath-work, mindfulness, gentle stretching and poses. We will start the class by setting an intention followed breath-work and a gentle warm up. We will take inspiration from the incredible Grade I listed Main Mill that will be the backdrop for the practice.  Combining short bursts of mindful walking with movement snacks where we will pause and enjoy some standing yoga poses and balances, this practice will calm the mind whilst moving the body. Is this workshop accessible?
This workshop is being held outdoors, and requires mobility to move around the Flaxmill Maltings site (no stairs or steps). This session is suitable for ages 16+ and is for anyone with an open heart and mind to maybe try something new! No experience is needed - simply come as you are.
Is this workshop suitable for beginners?
Yes! Whether you're a regular practicing yoga or completely new, you'll be welcome in this warm, relaxed and supportive environment. All poses in this class include multiple options and variations, so you can choose the right fit for you and your body.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
No! This class does not require a movement/yoga mat - simply bring yourself.
