What happens at this event?

This introductory workshop is for anyone who would like to explore what it feels like to create a short piece of writing from a very simple idea. Discuss the aspects of writing and, with the help of guided exercises, create a short mini-story. Sharing work is not required.

 

Éva is a Hungarian-British writer of crime and literary fiction. She has been teaching creative writing since 2017. Her aim is to help people start exercising their creative muscles, as well as support those who would like to take their writing seriously.

This workshop is being held in The Smithy, a building accessible via stairs or ramp. Suitable for ages 16+ and anyone with an open heart. No experience needed — just come as you are and be held in the magic.

Yes! Whether you're a born storyteller, or haven't picked up a writing pen before, you're welcome to come and have a go in a friendly and relaxed environment.
