*Do you struggle to feel happy with/in your body? Are you constantly thinking about your body, trying to change your body or shrink yourself smaller?* I hear you!

That was me ten years ago! But now I have the tools and mindset to feel happy in my body every single day. To make peace with my body and accept her exactly the way she is. And I want to pass these tools onto you in my 'Body Happy' workshop.

***This workshop is for anyone who wants to improve their relationship with their body and feel BODY HAPPY!***

Expect journaling, meditation/visualisation, group discussion and lots of body positive inspiration. Don't forget your journal and pen.

Join Runlates instructor Éva for a Pilates for Runners taster class! Together you will cover key exercises to develop mobility and strength in all the places you need it to be able to fully enjoy your running - moving freely, and feeling great! Our classes have a strong emphasis on creating a relaxed and friendly environment where you can work at your own level, so whether you are about to tackle couch to 5k or an ultra marathon we hope you’ll feel the benefits Pilates can offer, and feel very welcome in our class. Mats will be provided, but you may find a block and/or small towel useful to make yourself comfortable in some of the positions we will work in. **Changing Negative Talk into Positive Talk!**

The language we use with ourselves can shape everything - our confidence, self-worth, and even our ability to heal. This session is all about guiding you to recognise the negative inner dialogue that is holding you back and learn to rewrite it into positive, empowering affirmations.

**Format:**

Participants will work in pairs or small groups to take common negative self-talk phrases and transform them into positive ones. They’ll also have the option to bring in their own personal examples for a deeper, more reflective experience.

We’ll wrap with a short group discussion around how this shift can influence daily life, confidence, and self-compassion.

**Examples include:**

- “I’m not smart enough to succeed” ➝ “I have the expertise and abilities to reach my goals”

- “I always make mistakes” ➝ “I learn and grow from my mistakes, becoming better each day”

Join Alana for a fun, dynamic fusion of yoga and somatic movement. This is a class for everybody! Designed for all bodies and experience levels, with plenty of adaptations available. It’ll get us shaking out all that stored up stress and tension we don’t need, and opening up our bodies with some nourishing asana and pranayama. You’ll be gently guided to tune in and move intuitively so you can leave feeling freer, and more joyful. 

Alana is the founder of Earthed Wisdom, a nature-led business where she shares her love of ancient wisdom and wellness. She is a qualified Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Nutrition & Lifestyle Consultant. She hosts workshops and classes on seasonal living and natural medicine. She also co-founded the witchy community Move with Magick - running seasonal gatherings around the wheel of the year. Have you ever wondered how nice it would be to write a short story, a tale, a poem, or a book? Have you ever played with the idea of writing something for a beloved one? Did you talk yourself out of it? Are you interested in discovering if writing is for you?

Being creative is extremely beneficial for mental health, and finding your authentic voice through writing will open a new world for you. In this 55-minute writing workshop, you will use your creative muscle in a small group. You won't have to share anything.

**Éva Cserháti** is a Budapest-born Hungarian-British writer, literary translator and writing instructor with 30 years of experience teaching literature and languages. She has extended creative and scholarly work in Hungarian, Spanish, and English. She has been running creative writing classes in Shrewsbury for over two years.

Jenna first introduced the term “Gentle Yoga” when she began teaching in September 2019. She was looking for a word that would clearly reflect the kind of practice she offers—something welcoming and easy to understand, especially for those completely new to yoga. Her intention has always been to create classes that are gentle both in content and in approach.
